The league has a very diverse age group making it both competitive and fun. Teams enter as Rink of Choice and for the last 2 seasons with one team having a bye each week, the bye team was utilized as spares.

v  Rink of Choice means you enter with the team of your choice and you curl the full season with the same team – however, league reps do assist teams fill vacant spots or assist new curlers in finding a team to join.

v  This league is growing with 9 teams competing the last two seasons

v  A league where teams are very evenly matched

v  There are 2 round robin draws each season

v  21 games per season with roughly 10 -11 games Oct-Dec and 10-11 games Jan-Mar

v  The winner of the league is eligible to play the Thursday Ladies Afternoon league winner for the Ladies Club Championship, the winner of which has the opportunity to represent Powell River in the North Island Challenge Cup – usually held in March
